A Look Back at 2016, and a Look Forward to 2017

The year of 2016, like most years, was a year of ups and downs, a year of introspection and a year of amazing and unlikely occurrences. Unlike the average year, however, 2016 was a year steeped in triumph at the summer Olympics in Rio, a highly anticipated presidential election in the United States, and a year where we lost some incredibly influential people. We saw the most decorated athlete of all time become more decorated (shout out to Michael Phelps!), we witnessed the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series in over a century, and we said goodbye to David Bowie, Prince, and Princess Lea, to name a few.

With such a rich and interesting year behind us, we at Mountain America Jerky are grateful for 2016. We are grateful for the year, and also for what lies ahead. We are grateful for our customers and for the connection we have with all of you.

As we enter 2017, we look forward to bringing you new flavors and packages, new experiences, and new stories. We look forward to the constant triumphs of our great nation, and to wandering through new and unexplored paths into the mountains, through the plains, and across the streams of our backyards.
