Recently our friend Chris from The Survival Channel reviewed a nice selection of Mountain America Jerky’s products. For those of you unfamiliar with The Survival Channel, otherwise known as Survivalists R Us, they post videos and helpful information on YouTube about encouraging a survival mindset and preparing yourself for anything.

Jerky fits well into the survivalist lifestyle because it packs light, has high nutritional value, and tastes delicious. Chris and friend reviewed our Beef jerky, Kangaroo Jerky, Wild Boar Jerky, Elk Jerky, Venison Jerky, Alligator Jerky, and Teriyaki Duck Jerky.

These guys know their way around jerky. They are meat enthusiasts that make their own venison jerky, so it was a downright pleasure to be reviewed by true jerky enthusiasts.

Overall they were impressed by the “not too salty” nature of our products. They described most varieties as having a “spice or zest” that seemed to pleasantly surprise. They reviewed several of our exotic varieties. As “the overall favorite”, two varieties tied, watch the video to find out for yourself.
