Mountain America has been making jerky since 1999. That is 13 years of trial and error and finding ways to make and sell you the best product we can. With all of our work and processes, we have found some pretty wonderful ways to make tender and moist jerky that can be enjoyed by people, young and old.
Since we have put in so much time into the preparation of our product, we also want to make sure that our packaging is right for our product. For that reason, you will not find our jerky in any old plastic bag hanging on a shelf. We take the time to vacuum seal our packaging so that when you open your jerky, you will have the moist, tender jerky that you have been dying to eat.
Why the extra effort you ask? We take pride in our jerky, from start to finish; in the meat selection, marinading, drying and cutting of the jerky. So why would we finish it by sending it to you in something less than the perfect package. You can rest assured that your product will last a long time and will taste just as great today as it will several months from now with our vacuum sealed packaging.
