This time of the year is one of the best times when it comes to sports. You can watch football and baseball, hockey and basketball. Plus if you love college sports, there is a plethora of that on as well! I don’t know about you but the weekends are always loaded up with games on television and live ones, when I can get to them. Oh and add in the kids team sports and you can be on sports overload! As you can tell, I am a sports game junky! Aren’t you?
Game day at our place means there are loads of snacks and munchies. If we are tailgating, then that calls for more food! Jerky is one of those foods that is always on the menu! We even have a great recipe that starts with freshly made popcorn and then we take any left over snacks like crackers, tiny pretzels, cut up jerky, M&M’s, peanuts and whatever else is in the pantry and sounds good. Toss it all together and munch out! You can even add some popcorn seasoning or sprinkle on some cheese when the popcorn is still warm for an additional layer of flavor. It is fast, easy and everyone loves it!
