With all of the craziness surrounding the Christmas holiday, it is nice when we can finally take a few moments to relax and enjoy our family and friends. Holiday parties and New Years Eve is here and we have some awesome flavorful party snack items that you many want to add to your snack table. At Mountain America, we don’t just sell jerky. We also have another line of smoked cheese and pistachios that are perfect for a party gathering that you should put on your list.

Our smoked jack cheese is a big favorite around here because of its mild jalapeno pepper that is included. It is a beautiful tasting cheese and would make a perfect item to lay out for your guests to add to crackers or mini sandwiches for a delicious bite of goodness. In fact, here is an awesome appetizer to try.

Take some of the Buffalo or Elk Jerky Sticks and cut them into small bite size pieces. Cube the cheese and place a piece on top of your favorite round or square cracker or toast piece. Top it with a piece of the jerky stick and you have a super easy appetizer that takes no time.

You can also grab a few bags of our pistachios and pour them into small serving bowls to scatter around your party setting so there are ample places to grab a snack. Simple and easy!
