The great thing about making jerky is that with our own house recipes, we are able to satisfy so many of our customers love of jerky. We are of the belief that jerky doesn’t have to be boring to have a great flavor. There are plenty of spices available which we love to use in our recipes, so you can rest assured that we provide a range of flavor for every palate.

Many of our customers love traditional mild flavored jerky. They enjoy the pure flavor of the meat and just the right hint of spices to bring out the flavor of the meat. This is a a great way to enjoy jerky. But right along side of that are our customers that love spice. They love peppered jerky and to many, the hotter the better. That’s why Mountain America makes a wide range of flavors so everyone can find their favorites.

Some meats are durable enough to handle the extra spice and some meats are delicate in flavor and only need a bit to bring out the meat. We have a nice range of meats from Beef, Turkey and Venison to our meats like Buffalo and Elk that can handle our delicious spicy recipes. But have no fear, we have them in mild flavors too.
